but i was happier not thinking about it...
I also want to add that Ivy just started a blog of her own. She writes so articulately and beautifully. You can read about
her hide-tanning experience at lifeaswemakeit.wordpress.com/

eek!
Wow...I wonder what was the cause of this carnivorous epiphany?
The tool is called an ulu...lovely intrument! Congratulations to your friend! I don't see faces on my meat and especially not hot dogs. I do, however, abstain from hotdogs for fear of finding a vein. Argh!! I'm making my stomack turn!
I love this post. Great stuff. I went over and read the story. Your friend is a brave person. And a great writer. Thanks for tipping us off to her blog
You always make me laugh!
I'm going to check out your friend's hide soon... :)
Is "holy cow" appropiate to say here about your post?! Cheers, Julie
So true! A package of neatly cut meat does not have the same face as a happy cow from California!
If they didn't want to be eaten they should stop being so tasty.
I'm still cracking up, Kirsten. Errr....I mean, Malady. My freezer looks exactly like that! And Jack. So cuuuuuute! Little elf. You get extra tallow candles for Christmas!
Hot dog! (As someone somewhere once said . . .).
I'm a carnivore who longs for herbivority. I just can't get there yet. And it's because of the hot dogs, I'm sure.
