Wow... I dont know the effects of smoking while breastfeeding...my breastfeeding days are over and I don't smoke but um...maybe you made the right choice cause it seems like hubby was comfortable with it.

I smoked once since we had kids, although breast-feeding wasn't an issue for me. I can tell you it wasn't nearly as fun. Poop stains on your clothes and furniture jump out at you. Normally semi-pleasant paranoia becomes down right panic that you are going to somehow affect the baby.
My sister says she has a friend who smoked throughout pregnancy AND throughout breastfeeding regularly and her kid is "advanced" verbally. I just don't believe it OR have the guts! But a glass of wine here and there does the trick for me! ;) We miss you at playgroup!

OMG, you crack me up. I have to leave the room when my friends light up. I start coughing and hacking like crazy. I'm allergic or something.
