yes, yes it does rain in August. It's nice here in July, though! I don't know where the abalone is harvested from, but one can purchase scads of abalone shell necklaces in Florida.
Paint tourself a big backdrop of a sun, like on a tarp or something, and then get a growlight. Turn on light, stand in front of it wearing your shiny things, and voila! Instant sparkly shiny feelings!
If that doesn't work, you could always use the light to grow weed. Or so I've heard.
Awesome. So, I suggest you wear them around all the time, take pics of the people staring at you and use their expressions as motivation for new comics.
love how good the sun makes me feel. its been a long, cold winter for us in CT. Glad you enjoyed your time in the sun and celebrated by treating yourself with a splash of something shiny and new.

The sun will come soon - it has to!!
You'd make amazing rainbows all around you if only the sun would peek through. :)
I didn't know they had abalone in Florida.
BTW - does it rain in Portland in August?

Wear them at home and close all the drapes.
Glad your back! Been missing your posts.
This always happens on vacation. I throw money around like Paris Hilton, and end up accessorizing like the natives.
**but EVERYONE in Naples wears hand painted coordinates**
Just like a tourist!! Love it. I came here through Everyday Goddess. Congrats on your well deserved award from her/

It's PERFECT!

THIS is so true! The bright florals and the glittery hair clips just don't hold their lustre in the bleak world of everyday living.
